Flow 063 · Employee onboarding and offboarding

Ready on day one. Locked out on the last day.

When HR marks a new hire, accounts, licenses, equipment, access and a first-week plan are all set up automatically. When someone leaves, access comes off on time and their files go to the right person.

What lands with your team

New hires waiting for a laptop. Former employees who still have access. This flow runs the whole checklist from one HR entry, and shows everyone what is done and what is waiting.

How it works

Starts when
A new hire or a leaver is entered in your HR system.
Runs automatically
Creating accounts and assigning licenses by role; equipment and access requests to IT and facilities; welcome messages and a first-week plan for the new hire; removing access, transferring files and arranging equipment return for leavers.
Where AI helps
Optional: writing a first-week plan from the role and the team's checklist.
Where you’re in charge
HR and IT confirm role-based access, and any admin or shared accounts.

Questions teams ask

Does this replace our HR system?
No. Your HR system stays the source of truth. The flow listens to it and does the follow-on work.
How do you handle different access for different roles?
We build a simple table of roles and the access each one gets. HR or IT can update it without touching the flow.
Will we need new Microsoft licenses?
Often not. Many of these flows run on what you already have in Microsoft 365. Some steps need premium connectors or AI credits, so we check your current licenses on the first call and tell you exactly what, if anything, you would add before you commit.
