Privacy policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Who I am
atuned and atuned.org are run by Healing Hearts with Chloe LLC ("atuned", "I", "me"). You can reach me at admin@atuned.org. This policy covers both the atuned app and the atuned.org website.
Part 1: The atuned app
Where your data lives
Everything you log in atuned, including your nervous system states, body map, capacity and stress ratings, cycle and rhythm tracking, crash logs, regulation strategies, voice journal, and the patterns built from them, is stored in your own iCloud account, through the Apple ID you are signed in with on your device. That lets it stay with you and sync across your Apple devices. I don't run a server for it, I don't receive a copy, and I can't see, read, recover or restore it. Apple stores and protects it under Apple's own iCloud terms and privacy policy. If you delete your data or lose access to your iCloud account, I can't get it back for you.
What I collect through the app
I don't collect your health or wellness data, and I don't use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools in the app.
Accounts: atuned has no separate account with me. Your data is tied to your Apple ID through iCloud, and I don't receive your email address or Apple ID from the app.
Apple Health, wearables and your microphone
If you choose to connect Apple Health or an Oura ring, atuned reads only the data you allow, and uses it inside the app to build your patterns. You can change or revoke that access at any time in your device or Oura settings. If you use voice journaling, recordings and transcripts are stored the same way as the rest of your data, in your own iCloud account.
Subscriptions
Premium is bought and billed through Apple. Apple handles your payment details, and I never see your card number. Apple tells me only what I need to know that a subscription is active. Apple's own privacy policy governs what it collects.
Sharing your data
I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with anyone. If you export a report, for example to share with your therapist, you decide where it goes. Once you share it, it is out of my hands and under the rules of whoever you sent it to.
Deleting your data
Your data lives in your own iCloud account, so you are in control: you can export or delete it from inside the app, and you can manage or remove the app's iCloud data any time in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then iCloud. Because I never have a copy, there is nothing on my side to delete. For anything I do hold, such as an email you sent me from the website, email admin@atuned.org and I'll process it within 30 days.
Part 2: The atuned.org website
What you send me
- Starter kits and the Android waitlist: your email address, which kit or list you asked for, and (for kits) whether you use Google or Microsoft.
- Contact, intake and booking: your name, email, and whatever you write in a message, an intake email, or a Calendly booking.
- Therapist partner applications: name, email, license details, location, and optional practice information.
- Purchases: what you bought and your contact details. Card numbers are handled by the payment processor (Stripe), and I never see or store them.
What is collected automatically
The site is hosted by Squarespace, which uses cookies and collects usage information such as approximate location, device and browser type, pages visited, and referring site, in order to run the site and provide analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well.
How I use it
- To send you the kit, download or service you asked for, and to reply to you.
- To email you occasionally about the thing you signed up for. You can opt out in any message or by emailing me.
- To keep the site working, secure and understandable.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax records for a purchase.
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't use it for advertising.
Who helps me handle it
I use a small number of services that process information on my behalf, each with its own privacy policy: Squarespace (hosting, analytics, and where enabled checkout), Google (Google Sheets and Gmail, to record and reply to kit and waitlist requests, and for my email), Calendly (booking calls), Substack (if you subscribe to my writing), Stripe (payments), and Apple (the App Store). I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Client and patient information
Please don't put client, patient or other health information in a form, an intake email, or a booking note on this site. I don't need it to set up or explain an automation. My automations are built inside your own Google or Microsoft account, and it is your responsibility to make sure that account and its settings meet the privacy rules that apply to your practice. If you handle protected health information, talk with your compliance advisor before you switch any automation on.
How long I keep it
Kit and waitlist emails are kept until you ask me to remove you or the list is no longer needed. Messages and bookings are kept as long as they are useful to our work together. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information I hold about you, or to be removed from any list, by emailing admin@atuned.org. I'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and I'm glad to honor them.
Children
atuned is rated 16+ on the App Store and is not intended for children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.
Not a crisis service
atuned is a self-awareness tool. It doesn't monitor your data or contact anyone on your behalf. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US), or contact your local emergency services.
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, I'll say so on the site and in the app.
